天气:晚上雷阵雨
今天为“小天鹅精英计划”举行了第一场面试,我当然懒得去申请别的教室,所以直接借用了我们班的教室,哈哈。下午三点的时候还有校新闻网对BBS小天鹅站的采访,干脆一并在这个教室完成好了。
采访很简单,我介绍了小天鹅的前世今生,然后回答了一些关于站务工作的问题。我想,不久之后,这篇报到将出现在经贸大学的新闻网上,到时候我会转载过来的,嗯。
随后就是面试啦,呵呵。等了很久终于可以大张旗鼓地招募新站务了,真是开心。可不可以借用我的偶像Abraham Lincoln(Feb. 12, 1809 - Apr. 15, 1865)的话这么说呢,小天鹅是一个“BBS of the students, by the students, for the students”。
其实我一直更欣赏这句话的翻译,1863年11月19日林肯在盖茨堡(Gettysburg, Pennsylvania)的那篇演说词是:
Lincoln - Gettysburg Address
Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. 那最后一句的翻译堪称经典:一个民有、民主、民享的政府将永远不会在地球上消失。
上面说了很多废话,但这里是我的日志,积累一些资料是情有可原的,呼呼。
我们来说说晚上的面试吧,在这里只想感谢大家的热情,因为这实在是出乎我的意料之外。我最开始还担心会不会冷场呢,呵呵。还想说一件有趣的事情,有面试者进来和我们聊天,然后他提到某次通过某人向大鱼借相机拍摄毕业照片,然后blah blah blah。我和Jimmy忍住,然后我问他,你认识大鱼不?他说我知道他,但还没跟他说过话哩。我和Jimmy再也忍不住了,开始暴笑。大家看,面试是不是很有趣?
尽管在面试的时候我们会笑嘻嘻,但我们会非常严肃地去对待每一位申请者,不管我们之前是不是认识。在这次面试过程中,我考虑的并非是和我的关系,而是申请者本人的性格。这一切都牵涉到小天鹅站的未来,而我们的小天鹅是一个公正,公开和公平的BBS:)
